Valentines Day, Skiing, Moving and a Fire!

Well time just keep rolling by and im getting slower and slower at posting.

Here are a few things we have been up to.

First off Valentines day, I made heart shaped eggs, pankcakes and flower strawberries for us to eat. See picture if you want.

There was still snow and Makayla, Aden and Landon enjoyed jumping off the backyard fort into it.

Makayla has been in a couple more group and private skiing lessons and COP this year.

She’s been doing really well going all the way up the chair lift and skiing down the hill in a group and by herself with the private instructor.

We need to wok on her ability at getting herself up off the ground when she falls though. Jen was rather furious at one of the group instructors that ski’d all the way down to the bottom of the hill and left Makayla on the hill crying for about 10 minutes thinking she would just get up. Needless to say Jen is not more interested in all private 1 on 1 lessons and less interested in the group setting for MK.

She really likes skiing, and still isn’t a huge fan of cross country, but again this was her first year in cross country and her I think 3rd year skiing downhill.

Makayla is still enjoying Jazz and Ballet and is on a little break from Piano lessons as her teacher just had a baby. But her and Jen still practice the songs almost everyday.

Makayla is doing good in school, still struggling with her phonograms, she knows them visually, but has a hard time staying focus on the tests, but shes getting better.

As a reward we took Makayla and one of her friends to Chuck E Cheese this weekend, the reward was for her being able to count to 100 on her own which she had been struggling with but now has it all under control.

We also moved AGAIN last month into a smaller rental for the time being. We were able to stay in our Ward(congregation) which has been great.

We are mostly settled in now with only a few random boxes left to unpack in the basement.

1.5 weeks ago a house 6 houses over caught fire and Jen and MK took some pics of it. It was quite a blaze, but I don’t think anyone was home at the time, the house it pretty much toast and it did some damage to the 2 neighboring houses.

In other news work has been going good. Sales are increasing and we have decided to expand the printing company to add bigger presses and expand beyond just doing cheques.

We are currently looking for a new location as our current lease expires end of April.

Were going form 2000 sq ft to 6000-7500 depending on the layout.

Its pretty exciting to see this progressing.

Ive also been doing some advertising on google using adwords which has been interesting. I have it semi under control and I have had some sales come from it which is always good.

My ROI so far on google has been about 500%. If only I could increase the number of clicks somehow…. Gotta figure that one out still. But so far so good.

Jen recently went to see a Naturopath, so she is going to be trying out some different food choices to see if the help her with sleep issues and other stuff. He said no MILK, personally I couldn’t live without milk, but jen has been doing fine without meat and things that Tahini Sauce tastes good on its own(which it doesn’t) so I think shell be okay.

Anyways hope your all doing well.

Oh if you need our new address email me at pixar@shaw.ca

Later!

Jon
